GoldenWolf-EwingCole JV is one of five firms awarded a $200 million Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) supporting the Medical Division Architect and Engineering Services IV program of the US Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Center. This is the first multiple award contract presented in the MRR unrestricted suite.
This contract supports the Defense Health Agency, its subordinate medical services (U.S. Army Medical Command, U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine, and the Air Force Medical Support Agency), and other non-Department of Defense customers by providing full-service specialized medical facility architecture, engineering, and planning services to support the medical Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization program.
“We are excited to join this endeavor with USACE, Huntsville, and continue fostering and building on our existing relationship,” said GoldenWolf President Sabrina Wolfersberger, Ph.D. “Our team is eager and ready to help better our military healthcare facilities through this work.”
Added John L. Capelli, AIA, principal and director of EwingCole’s Government practice: “The Huntsville Center is one of the Army’s leaders in providing expertise and the highest quality support to the Department of Defense. We have years’ worth of experience working with the Huntsville Center and we’re looking forward to the opportunity to continue building that relationship.”
The scope of services includes design and engineering for hospitals, clinics, medical administration buildings, health facilities, warehouses, and wellness centers. The contracts will support locations throughout the contiguous United States, U.S. Territories, and the Republic of Korea, Japan, Italy, and Germany for a total of seven years, ending in 2029.
