What made you choose to work at GoldenWolf?
A number of former Apple employees–myself included–now work at GoldenWolf. That was the bridge for me. [Director of IT] Joe Dix, who was a former coworker, saw a need for IT help here at GoldenWolf. Given my background, he thought I’d be a good fit, and here I am.

What does the typical workday look like for you?
I start off by checking any IT tickets that I might have needed to handle, and then focus on maintaining system health. Changing security and device requirements, managing the company portal, and tweaking policies are my primary daily activities.

What is your favorite aspect about your job?
The fact that every day is different. I get to interact with a wide variety of different individuals in their unique positions, rather than being confined to an IT department. It keeps me always learning and fulfilled.

What is the most challenging part of your job?
Definitely fluidity and staying ahead of the technology curve, sometimes learning as I go. As I test new policies and updates for GoldenWolf, I really need to stay on my toes to troubleshoot any potential errors.

What do you consider to be your greatest achievement so far at GoldenWolf?
The global change to remove administrator rights from all our Windows machines would definitely be it. I had been told that every computer would have to physically touch an IT person, but I was able to do this remotely and keep us CMMC compliant.

Outside of work, what activities or hobbies do you enjoy?
I enjoy video games and watching all the Baltimore professional sports teams.

If you woke up on a Friday to find you had the day off, how would you spend the day?
I would either go looking for tickets to a sports game, or go to the bar to meet up with some friends.
